VISA REQUIREMENTS
A foreign national from the EU, EEA or Switzerland is exempt from the visa requirement.
For some nationalities outside the EU there is no visa requirement either.

Applying in time
Although it usually takes anything up to fifteen days to process a visa application, this process may take up to 60 days if further investigation is necessary. In exceptional cases, an investigation will take up to two months. If you are travelling to the Schengen Area for the first time, you should certainly apply for your visa in good time to make sure that you can travel on the dates you planned.
How to apply
When a foreign national applies for a tourist visa, he or she must supply a letter of invitation. There are some exceptions. Please download the visa request form and return the file dully filled and signed.Following authentication, we will issue your visa invitation letter and send it to the person applying for the visa, who will take it to the Czech embassy or consulate in his or her country.
Where to apply for and collect a visa
Foreign nationals apply for tourist visas at the Spanish embassy or consulate in the country of origin where they can collect them later. Visit the website of the Spanish Embassy which is the closest to you for a list of overseas offices. A tourist visa is a sticker. The embassy or consulate will affix this tourist visa to your passport.
Costs
There is a non-refundable administration fee when applying for a visa. Visa costs have been harmonised in Schengen countries. Details of the costs can be obtained at the mission in the country where the application is made.
