How IELA celebrated #GED2022!!

Global Exhibitions Day – 1 June 2022

The seventh annual Global Exhibitions Day took place on June 1st 2022.


UFI encouraged all businesses and professionals in the sector to join the GED celebrations by highlighting the impact of exhibitions on local economies – both in building businesses and connecting people from around the world.

Once again, IELA supported this special day and invited its members to participate in one or several initiatives!

IELA Members could share their thoughts on the future of the industry, especially on the future of the exhibition logistics industry.

  1. Download the template
  2. Fill it in with your thoughts, company logo and portrait and save as jpg
  3. Share the final image on your social media account, including #GED2022 and tagging IELA.

IELA’s video of messages for GED2022

The IELA Members were invited to share their thoughts on the value of physical exhibitions in creating platforms for economic growth and recovery, as well as being the perfect occasion to network and meet new people.

Watch the sample video and record your GED2022 take!

  1. Prepare your short message about the value of exhibitions (80 characters max.)
  2. Record your video in vertical format (one take of a few seconds) Please record the movement of pointing up or down with your fingers and then returning to your initial starting position.
  3. Send both elements (video + message in text) to the IELA Secretariat before May 30th
