Breaking Ground in the Exhibition Logistics Industry: The 2023 IELA Congress & Partnering Event unveils a New Era. With attendees from 48 countries, the industry's annual gathering opened doors to a new future, showcasing the strength of event professionals worldwide.
Under the motto Opening Doors to a New Future, the 38th IELA Congress took place in Malta last June 28th until July 1st 2023, followed by the 10th IELA Partnering Event on July 1st & 2nd.

The 11th edition of the IELA Winter Seminar, a 100% funded event as part of IELA’s 2023 Membership Benefits Programme, took place last January 12th to 15th 2023 at the Century City Conference Center in Cape Town, South Africa.
The event offered 31 students a high quality educational programme focused on the daily responsibilities of exhibition freight forwarders and On-site operations businesses.

The 37th IELA Congress and 9th IELA Partnering Event in Bruges which took place from June 27th to July 1st 2022 was greatly applauded by all attendees as a business accelerator. It depicted the end of troubling times and the beginning of a new era. Even if there is still a certain amount of uncertainty, a strong feeling prevailed that “the best is yet to come”. Greater cooperation among partners will be key in the future and the Congress is the best platform for doing just this.

#GED2020 IELA THINK Forum 2.0: How Will Things Change after an Industry Restart?
As COVID-19 has become an integral part of our daily lives, the implementation of safety and hygiene standards is a top priority for all parties working in the exhibition industry. With the re-opening of businesses in many countries, the emphasis is on restoring the supply chain and primarily looking at what is needed to enable a positive start back to business in the New Now. IELA invited a group of industry specialists to exchange their views and ideas and identify the areas where new standards and cooperation are necessary.
Last year’s Think Forum session at the IELA Venice Conference addressed the subject of becoming more customer centric rather that product centric. As a follow-up to this podium discussion, the second edition « IELA THINK Forum 2.0 » took place recently on June 3rd, the GED 2020 day which celebrates and promotes the importance of the exhibition industry.
